**Business Overview:**


Citi's Securities Services comprises four principle product groups: Direct Custody and Clearing (DCC), Global Custody, Funds Services and Agency Securities Lending


DCC provides asset servicing and transaction functions primarily to intermediaries such as broker-dealers, banks and other Global Custodians, through our proprietary network in over 60 markets


Global Custody provides asset servicing and transaction functions through Global Windows which aggregate the local custody footprint, delivering clients such as fund managers, insurance companies and other global investors a more consolidated asset servicing proposition.


Funds Services includes Fund Accounting, Transfer Agency and Middle Office Services to global asset managers and asset owners.


Agency Securities Lending facilitates the lending of securities by clients, typically to Prime Brokers and other Markets counterparts, on an agency basis.


Citi has a long history of shaping and accelerating the process of change in the securities markets infrastructure, actively participating in key working groups and industry committees in each market in which we are present.


Over recent years, Citis SS business has focused on leading more innovative utilities and services, bringing a number to market, with examples of more disruptive utilities and the support of digital assets and digitalisation.


Within the SS business, the Data, Digital and Strategic Projects group is dedicated to forwarding the innovation agenda, with the expectation of building out the platform and services to facilitate and enable clients in the future operating environment.


**Purpose:**


The data communications lead will be responsible for translating the business, platform and applications strategy and capabilities into a communication strategy to promote and drive awareness with both internal and external constituents- client facing staff, existing and prospect clients, industry influencers, The lead will be responsible for defining a communications framework which will be aligned with the broader SS marketing campaigns. The comms strategy and framework is intended to drive market and client awareness of the applications and platform, showcasing the benefits for clients and the value they derive from the engagement process and from using the platform. The internal communications framework should run at a regular cadence to ensure support for internal superusers, and equip client facing staff with the tools required to speak eloquently about the platform and the strategy Citi is deploying for data to support our clients and their future needs.


**Principal Accountabilities:**


+ Define a market leading positioning and communications framework to promote the SS data platform, and its benefits for clients for both internal and external constituents, through a specified set of channels and medium, driving towards significant industry brand recognition

+ Define and implement a best in class suite of collateral for both internal and external consumption which clearly articulates the positioning and benefits in a truly compelling manner

+ Ensure support of framework for client advisory input and engagement to continually drive client led development of the platform

+ Ensure all supporting artefacts are updated with a regular cadence and education updates are attended


**Skills:**


+ Prior professional experience in communications, preferably within a software house


+ Demonstrated experience delivering successful campaigns via an array of medium and channels, with the proven metrics for successful outcomes and pick ups

+ Proven ability to solve for challenges in a way that can reimagine the ecosystem to deliver more tangible benefits

+ Experience in articulating strategic and complex areas in a simple and meaningful way which resonates with the audience

+ Experience in developing successful and sustainable client relationships

+ Proven track record in understanding constituents of an internal and external marketing campaign and how to reach those constituents successfully

+ Strong commercial acumen

+ Demonstrated ability to plan, organise and prioritise work within a delivery framework

+ Strong collaboration, communication, and coaching skills

+ Strong client servicing and presentation skills

+ Strong ability to establish, build and maintain strong effective working relationships at all levels across the organization

+ Demonstrated ability to work independently as well part of virtual teams to deliver on strategic outcomes


**Qualifications**


Graduate Level (in Finance, Commerce or Equivalent Discipline) or equivalent experience or Professional Qualification
