The Schools, Health & Libraries Broadband (SHLB) Coalition is looking for a strategic thinker who has experience engaging in press relations, developing content (writing blogs and other materials), engaging in marketing to support our Annual Conference and membership recruitment, using social media, and managing our website. This is a mid-level position with growth potential for someone who has 4-8 years of experience in a fast-paced and frequently changing environment. The ideal candidate is personable and enjoys working in a team with other SHLB staff and our diverse membership. The person should be comfortable working from home and occasionally meeting in DC.
Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred
Excellent verbal and written communications required
Familiarity with Capitol Hill and public policy preferred
